Where the work is

Hands on. Pick one.

Saturday meals

Cooking, serving, cleaning, sitting with people who came alone. The meal program is the front door for everything else.

Driving

Patients to clinic visits. Parishioners to community events. The orb tells us when someone needs a ride.

Listening

Trained volunteer listeners support pastoral counseling sessions. Six-week training program before you sit with anyone.

Skills you have

Carpentry. IT. Accounting. Photography. Whatever you do well, the parish probably needs.

What we ask of you

Background check

Anyone in clinical-adjacent role completes background check. Parish-level confidentiality applies forever.

Training

Most roles include 4–8 hours of training. Listener role is six weeks. We do not staff anyone we have not equipped.

Sustained presence

Two hours a month is the floor. People in crisis recognize sustained presence faster than they recognize anything else.
